Unpacking and Positioning
Inventory Check: Unpack and inspect the machine body, headstock, tailstock, tool post, tools, and other accessories; verify there is no impact damage.
Equipment Positioning: Use a forklift or the combined effort of at least two people to move the equipment onto level ground; install leveling casters and adjustable leveling feet to support the machine.
Leveling: Use a precision level to take measurements at multiple points along the bedways; adjust the leveling feet to ensure the machine's levelness is within 0.1–0.2 mm/m, then tighten all leveling foot nuts.
Assembly of Core Components
Securing the Bed to the Frame: Align the mounting holes of the bed and the frame; insert hex socket bolts, spring washers, and flat washers, then tighten them one by one using an open-end wrench.
Headstock Installation:Align the motor headstock with the bed's mounting surface and secure it with the provided screws, ensuring the spindle axis is parallel to the bedways.
Tailstock Installation: Slide the tailstock base onto the bedways; rotate the tailstock handwheel to extend the quill, insert the live center, and verify that the center is securely installed without looseness.
Installing Connecting Blocks and Reinforcement Plates:Position the I-shaped connecting blocks in a staggered arrangement with screw heads facing outward and the thicker section facing up; install the reinforcement plates and tighten all securing screws.
