Pre-start Checks
Equipment Inspection: Thoroughly inspect core components such as the tufting and drilling mechanisms. Ensure brush filaments are free from bending, looseness, or breakage, and that the roller shaft shows no cracks or deformation; replace immediately if filament loss exceeds 10%.
Parameter Verification: Confirm the equipment's rated speed matches the drive system. Check that chucks and spindles are free from wear or looseness, the brush roller shaft bore is concentric with the spindle, and all switches, braking systems, and insulation are fully functional.
Operational Preparation: Clear the work area of flammable or explosive debris. Securely clamp workpieces; manual holding of small parts during processing is prohibited. Activate the dust extraction system prior to operation.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements
Wear impact-resistant safety goggles at all times; use a full-face shield for high-intensity operations to prevent puncture injuries from high-speed flying filament fragments or debris.
Wear abrasion- and cut-resistant gloves and anti-static workwear. Loose clothing and exposed jewelry are prohibited; long hair must be fully secured to prevent entanglement in rotating parts.
Wear dust masks and hearing protection (earmuffs) as required by the specific work environment, and use slip-resistant, impact-resistant safety shoes to ensure comprehensive protection.
